Reference the specific school or major you're targeting, not just "UVM" generically. Admissions officers can tell when you've actually explored their website versus submitted a template response. Mention a named professor, lab, or initiative if possible.

Connect to UVM's Green Mountain identity. UVM's location in Burlington and mission emphasize sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. If these values resonate with you, show it explicitly--don't just say "I like nature."
