Essay Overview

Babson College requires two supplemental essays. What They're Really Looking For

Go beyond "entrepreneurship" as a buzzword. Babson isn't just looking for students who want to start a company—they want leaders who create economic and social value. Show that you understand entrepreneurship as problem-solving. Reference a specific course (like Babson's famous Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship), a particular center (e.g., the Center for Women's Entrepreneurship), or how you'll use Babson's experiential learning model to tackle a real problem you care about.

Connect your past ventures to Babson's ecosystem. If you've started a project, club, or initiative—no matter how small—frame it as evidence that you think entrepreneurially.
