I'mAdmitted is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any college or university, including but not limited to Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, UPenn, Duke, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, or Tufts. Use of a university's name in our service describes what the service analyzes — it does not imply any official relationship.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using I'mAdmitted ("Service," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users.
2. Description of Service
I'mAdmitted is an AI-powered writing feedback tool that helps students analyze and improve their college application essays. The Service includes:
- A free guided essay ideation flow ("Find My Topic").
- A paid AI essay scoring tool ("Score My Essay") that provides AI-generated analysis, dimension scores, annotated feedback, and suggestions for improvement.
I'mAdmitted is a writing improvement tool. It is not a college counseling service, an admissions consulting service, or a ghostwriting service.
3. AI Disclosure
All scores, feedback, annotations, and analysis generated by I'mAdmitted are produced by artificial intelligence (AI). They are not produced by licensed counselors, former admissions officers, or any human reviewer unless explicitly stated.
Specifically:
- Essay scores are AI-generated estimates based on rubrics calibrated from publicly available admissions guidance and published essay analysis. They are not objective measures of essay quality or admissions likelihood.
- The "AI Reader Perspective" and similar feedback outputs are generated by an AI language model trained to reflect writing quality signals. They do not represent the opinion of any university's admissions office.
- Our rubrics are calibrated using publicly available information, including published admissions guidance and publicly shared essay examples. We do not have access to any university's internal scoring systems or private admissions criteria.
We disclose AI involvement in accordance with applicable FTC guidelines on AI transparency.
4. No Guarantee of Admission
I'mAdmitted makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee — express or implied — that use of our Service will improve your chances of admission to any college or university, or that any score or feedback produced by our Service reflects how a real admissions office would evaluate your essay.
College admissions decisions involve many factors beyond essay quality, including but not limited to GPA, test scores, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, demonstrated interest, institutional priorities, and available spots. A high score from I'mAdmitted does not predict or guarantee admission. A low score does not predict or guarantee rejection.
Our Service is a tool to help you write a stronger, clearer, more specific essay. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
5. Pricing and Billing
I'mAdmitted offers the following pricing model, effective May 26, 2026:
- Free Plan ($0): Access to the guided essay ideation flow ("Find My Topic"). No account required, unlimited sessions. Does not include essay scoring or feedback.
- Season Pass ($99 one-time): One-time payment granting one year (365 days) of access from the date of purchase — your entire application season. Includes unlimited essay scoring and revisions across all 180 school-specific rubrics, Common App and supplemental essay prompts, 6-dimension analysis per prompt, line-by-line annotated feedback on your essay, and a school-calibrated AI reader perspective. No recurring charges; access ends one year after purchase.
- Counselor (custom, by request): A managed offering for college counselors supporting multiple students. Pricing and seat counts are arranged individually — contact us at hello@imadmitted.com to be onboarded. Includes access to all 180 school rubrics and prompts, hands-on onboarding, priority support, and volume pricing. A self-serve counselor dashboard is on our roadmap but not yet available.
The Season Pass is a one-time, non-recurring purchase. You will not be charged again after your initial purchase, and access expires one year from the purchase date. Counselor arrangements are handled individually; any billing terms will be agreed directly with you at the time of onboarding.
All prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to active customers. Price changes will not affect one-time purchases already completed.
6. Refund Policy
Because the Season Pass is a one-time purchase and your scored reports are generated and delivered instantly, our refund policy reflects the nature of an instant digital product:
- 7-day satisfaction window (before first use): You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not yet scored an essay. Once you run your first score, the Season Pass is non-refundable — the scored report is delivered immediately and cannot be returned. To evaluate the Service beforehand, use the free "Find My Topic" ideation tool and review a full sample scored report before you buy.
- Exceptions (good faith): If a technical error on our part results in a duplicate charge, or the Service is unusable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to an outage on our side, we will issue a full or prorated refund for the affected purchase.

7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit essays written entirely by AI generators and represent them as your own work to colleges.
- Use the Service to generate essays on behalf of others for a fee (reselling AI-generated content).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our rubrics, prompts, or AI system prompts.
- Share account credentials with others or use the Service in a way that circumvents access or usage limits.
- Submit content that is illegal, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
The I'mAdmitted name, logo, scoring rubrics, design system, and all platform content are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
You retain ownership of any essay content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your essays.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'mAdmitted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: college application outcomes, decisions made based on AI feedback, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify active customers of material changes via email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, except where prohibited by law.
